A little about me and my path to photography…

Hi, I am Ashley the owner and lead lifestyle portraiture, landscape and restoration photographer serving the Carolinas and beyond at Captured in the Frame by Ashley. I have been a photographer for years through college and my professional career and am excited to have the opportunity to be able to create a full service photography service specializing in lifestyle, family and branding portraits as well as restoration services and natural art.

I am so happy you are here because that means you are exploring how we can work together to capture your family’s memories and add those treasured pieces of art to your home and living spaces or maybe you are in the need for new branding images, restoration or natural art for the home or office. Like I said earlier, photography has always been a great passion of mine from an early age and I have explored the world of design, photography and natural art for years in both my free time and careers. Over the years, I worked to learn many technology techniques and earned credentials that have helped me to grow as a photographer and editor. I am Adobe Certified Professional in Visual Design with credentials in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign which will has helped me develop my restoration and portraiture editing techniques over time. As a Canon photographer member of PPA I continually explore new products, lighting and techniques that can improve all sessions and collections available to my clients.

Though, it seems I have always had a camera in hand, my first photography career began when I was in college as a part time family and wedding photographer and as a natural print artist which reflected the everyday beauty of our coastline as well as other gems found through the seasons in my travels. As time passed, I began a full time career in business and education but through that time I continued to expand my horizons in portraiture and restoration photography.

Using my visual design skills and experiences as well as a wealth of props both for natural light and in studio as well, created especially for your family and children, I am here to capture timeless memories for you to treasure for years to come because remember in a blink of an eye it seems we all grow up so fast.

In addition to traditional lifestyle family portraits, I also offer both property real estate and professional branding images for you and your company. Whether you or your company have a new listing for a new construction or an existing home, a rental or an Airbnb property, Captured in the Frame by Ashley can capture your property in the best light for sales. For professional branding images, I offer in studio traditional backdrops as well as natural outdoor lighting for a more contemporary product for your professional branding.
